| Originally, Peter's mum had offered to make our wedding cake for us, but since we want an orange 'sponge' type cake, and not the traditional fruit cake, we thought it might be best not to have the stress of making a cake at the very last minute. We went online and looked at a couple of bakeries. We only actually went out to talk to one,
Speciality Cakes, as we really fancied one of their designs. It's in their "Gallery" the very last cake called "String of Pearls". We will of course have it in a blue color scheme,
with only two tiers, offset like it is shown in the photo. They will
create the sugar flower decorations in a couple of weeks and call us
in to have a look to make sure they are ok. :) I have a feeling that
we are going to be very busy in the four weeks heading up to the
wedding, as we have to meet with all the people that are helping us
to make our day extra special! |
