... stationery ...
Our wedding invitations and inserts were all designed and hand-made by Peter and myself. The cardstock, paper, and envelopes I used are from a line called "Cordeon's Stardream" and has a slight iridescent sheen to it. I ordered my paper products from Marco's Papers, who I have done business with in the past. They are fast, efficient and ship overseas.

The design itself is a 'tri-fold' type design, done on dark blue (or "Lapis") stardream cardstock. We used the 'quartz' stardream text weight stationery for the tags on the front, which has a rubberstamped double-heart that is heat embossed. (Peter had fun with the heat gun! :) ) Opening the invitation, the invitation itself is printed on a cloud pattern vellum using the "Love Light" font by Rob Leuschke, and attached to the card with silver organza ribbon. On the right side panel there is a photo of Peter and myself, taken by his sister Helen. (There were three we chose from the 'photo-shoot' to put into our invitations, and you can see all three on the front page of this website in the right most panel.) The photo is backed with the quartz stardream. The inserts are printed on the quartz stardream in the Love Light font, with the RSVP card backed by the lapis stardream cardstock. The invitation is then put into a quartz stardream envelope and addressed by hand by me. Peter was very much into helping to put these together, and I am so grateful for his help!

We will also be creating name cards for the tables, and still trying to decide if we want to create programs and menus as well, to match our scheme. If so, I need to get some more stuff ordered. :)
